“Easier for Us” Isn’t the Same as Best for the Child

A student’s physical support needs do not automatically determine where they belong educationally. Inclusion should consider the child’s individual needs, strengths, access to peers, and opportunities to learn—not simply what placement is easiest for the school or staff.
