When a teacher sees a need, they should be able to raise it.
This veteran educator had worked with the student all year, tried handwriting supports, and still saw concerns. So she planned to bring up an OT evaluation with the team.
That’s what individualized support should look like: notice the need, document what’s been tried, and ask the question.
