What Happens After Special Education Ends?

Too often, the story seems to end when a student leaves the school system. But what about the young adults who go on to work, live independently, build relationships, drive, contribute to their communities, and become successful employees? Those outcomes matter. If we want to understand the impact of special education, we need to look beyond graduation and recognize the lives students build afterward.
