Reading to Your Child Does Not Cure Dyslexia

Parents can read every bedtime story, fill the house with books, and surround a child with language, and a child can still have dyslexia. Reading difficulties should not automatically be blamed on what parents did or didn’t do at home. Schools have a responsibility to identify students who may need support and respond to their individual learning needs.
